We’re surrounded by headlines, opinions, benchmark scores, product launches, podcasts, videos, and endless social media commentary. Every announcement is framed as revolutionary. Every debate demands that we immediately choose a side.
Somewhere along the way, we’ve become incredibly good at consuming information—but not necessarily at understanding it.
That’s why I created Tomorrow, Explained.
Looking beyond the headline
This isn’t another newsletter that tells you what happened yesterday.
There are already excellent journalists covering breaking news faster than I ever could.
What interests me is what comes next.
Why does a new model actually matter?
How does a breakthrough in AI connect to semiconductors, data centers, energy, geopolitics, or the economy?
Which developments are likely to shape the next decade—and which will disappear as quickly as they arrived?
Technology never moves in isolation. Every breakthrough is connected to something larger.
Understanding those connections is often far more valuable than knowing the headline itself.
A little about me
I’m Antonia Maar, a technology analyst focused on AI, advanced computing, and emerging technologies.
Through my work, I spend my time speaking with the people building these technologies—from founders and researchers to enterprise leaders and infrastructure providers. Those conversations have taught me something that doesn’t always make the headlines:
The biggest shifts rarely come from a single announcement.
They happen when technological progress, business strategy, economics, infrastructure, and human behavior begin moving in the same direction.
That’s the perspective I want to bring to this publication.
Not by claiming to predict the future, but by helping make sense of the forces shaping it.
What you can expect
